A Proud Leader
I am so proud. All of my girl scout girls were able to make the Valentine's Party on Tuesday which meant that Miss. Kiley *FINALLY* got a picture of both troops together. I am so proud of these girls. They are terrific, and with wonderful parents, I couldn't ask for more.

Christmas Party Tomorrow
Just want to let everyone know that our annual Girl Scout Christmas party is tomorrow from 5-8pm. Parents are invited the first hour for pizza and goodies. Please remember to bring in your favorite holiday treat! We will be going over all the cookie information as well as answering any questions you may have. There will be even be a "SUGGESTION BOX" located at one of the tables. I would love if you the parents or girls would fill out a card. Ideas are always welcome!!
From 6-8pm the girls will enjoy presents, homemade hot chocolate and a movie. They are asked to wear their favorite PJ's and bring a favorite blanket and stuffed animal. The movie this year will be "THE POLAR EXPRESS"
I can't wait to see everyone there!! Parents, don't forget the important items. Clearly marked in a bag. You can hand it to me or one of the other ladies tomorrow.
See you tomorrow,
Kiley

Reminder Letter
Dear Parents:
Just a friendly reminder that next week is our last meeting of 2010. We will be meeting with both troops for our annual CHRISTMAS PARTY. We are inviting family and friends again to join us for pizza and dessert. I am asking for everyone to bring in their FAVORITE HOLIDAY TREAT to share!! Pizza's and drinks will be provided.
While everyone is together I will briefly go over all the information regarding COOKIE SALES that will begin in January. This is much easier to do now, rather then waiting until next month to hold a formal parents meeting. We also will discuss any “information” that may be important.
The time of the party is from 5:00-8:00pm at 82 Serrel Sweet Rd (this is the same place we had our Thanksgiving Pot luck). Parents are invited for the first hour of the program, and then are able to leave while the kids enjoy their Christmas party. Please remember you are to bring a small gift for your daughter under $10 with their name clearly labeled. I am asking the girls to dress in their favorite PJ's, bring their stuffed animal and blanket. We will be watching the movie “THE POLAR EXPRESS” and enjoying some homemade hot chocolate made special by me.
Any questions please feel free to call me. 383-3452 or look for any updated information at our website at www.girlscouts133.blogspot.com
Thanks Again,
Kiley Rodrigues
**Don't forget, next Tuesday's meeting IS NOT at my house. It will be at the church. The same venue that we had our Thanksgiving Dinner.

Girl Scout Thanksgiving Pot Luck (A Tad Late)
Two weeks ago, our Girl Scout Troops had their very first "Pot Luck Thanksgiving". The girls helped make fun decorations for the tables along with little pins for the moms/grandma's/aunts to wear. The girls were able to invite family and friends for food and fun. One of my Co-Leaders (THANK YOU KAREN!!) was able to get her church function room for our event. And it worked out perfectly. Jason and I cooked the turkey's. Our first ever. And I would say we did a rather good job. Though a bit dry due to the fact that we used our convection oven for the very first time and they cooked them SUPER QUICK. Next year we will remember.
The kids had a fantastic time. And I was really glad to have the chance to meet the girls sisters, fathers, aunts and uncles. That is always the highlight.
Here are some great pictures of our special day! ENJOY!
The Tables all set up. The decorations in the middle represent "Corn Husks" they are made from toilet paper rolls, brown tissue paper, fall colored buttons, and raffia" Very simple and really cute
Ezme saying to me: "Mommy, is it time to eat yet?"

We missed everyone
Just wanted to say I missed a lot of you today at girl scouts. We decorated out Turkey feathers and talked about family. All who were unable to make today will work on their feathers next week as we continue to talk about family and gear up for our Thanksgiving Potluck. See everyone next week!

Toilet Paper Rolls
I am in desperate need of Toilet Paper rolls for a project we will be doing. I need at least 24 (one for each girl). So if you can, please save those rolls for me and bring them the next time you see me. Thank You.
